Shopflick is committed to serving a community of independent entrepreneurs. We believe independent entrepreneurs are the source of great innovation, passion and authenticity and are underserved in the online space. We are not limited to handmade goods as we understand that independent entrepreneurs have ambitions to grow. In fact, we welcome stores, resellers, merchants, manufacturers, importers and other entrepreneurs. However, we would not be a place for large corporate brands to sell mass label goods, as we do not believe the world needs yet another place for "big box" retailers to sell more iPods (we love them too!) or Dolce & Gabbana handbags (yes, we love those, too!). We reserve the right to enforce these policies for the benefit of the Shopflick Community.

Shopflick is an additional distribution channel at no/low-cost. There's no cost to try!

Most of our sellers do not list all of their products. Typically they feature signature items which they can sell in higher quantity, or which can be produced quickly. The more quantity to sell, the longer product will be available and the longer the video will be online. We want sellers to take full advantage of their great video for as long as possible!
In terms of price point, our sweet spots are products at an accessible price point, typically $100 or less.

Yes, that's the point! However, in the future, we will be allowing you to upload pictures in lieu of videos for additional product listings.

First, we recommend you get creative and give it a shot yourself, or ask a friend or local videographer to help you out.

Yes, you will have full control of your user and store profile pages and will be able to add whatever details you'd like, including a website link & updated product information (i.e. color, size, etc). All stores support custom header images, as well as store profile videos so you can connect with your audience in the style and voice you’d like to.

Monthly Store Fees will be waived for 6 months (normally $9.95/$19.95 per month) till October 31, 2008
The only cost will be a 12.5% transaction fee on products sold. For example, if you sell a product for $30, Shopflick will assess a $3.75 transaction fee.

Buyers will pay for your product via Paypal
If you don't already have a PayPal account it's easy to set up. Go to www.paypal.com and sign up!
We strongly recommend sellers to have PayPal Premiere or Business accounts. There is no fee to upgrade form a personal account, but the Business & Premiere accounts do allow you to receive credit card payments via PayPal.

Yes, after receiving payment, the seller is responsible for shipping the product directly to the buyer.

Certainly, many of our current sellers offer made to order products. Through the messaging capabilities on our site it’s easy to communicate to your buyers to find out their custom preferences. For made-to-order products, all you need to do is clearly state what the wait time is for you to create/produce the product.

Yes, you will be able to upload a profile video and product listing videos to your store page.

There is no set time frame during which you have to sell. You can close your store and unpublish listings at any time, there are no commitments to sell products on Shopflick.

All profile and product videos will include an HTML embed code (similar to YouTube) that will allow you to post on your website, blog, MySpace, Facebook, etc.
